From 6-9 on Friday we will be open and welcoming visitors for a drink. We are also open 12-6 on Saturday and Sunday, and will give you a cup of something then too if you like!    www.frontroom.org.uk

Sophie also has ceramic sculpture in the Front Room auction (further details on the website) The live part of the auction is on Sunday at 3pm and the Star and Dove pub.

The Magpie is a Bristol squat in Picton Street where artists live and work, providing a community space where lots of things can and do happen. Wouldn't it be terrible if it got taken over by Tescos for a supermarket? Sophie gave them a willow Magpie to grace their roof. See image below  2.10.08

Two pigs, in Bath. Sophie has painted two pigs for the King Bladuds Pigs project in Bath. One is called the Happy Pig and the other is called The Truly Amazing Two Tunnels Pig. The project is raising money to open up two disused railway tunnels for a cyclepath. Click the images below for a closer look.    www.kingbladudspigs.org

Till September 28th! Sophie is showing some of her sculpture at The Rummer Hotel, along with the lovely paintings of Nigel Shipley. The Rummer Hotel, just off Corn Street, is the coolest place to take a drink or have a meal in the whole of Bristol.  www.therummer.net

In July Sophie showed some willow sculpture at the Larmer Tree Festival in Dorset. This work included a poem in willow script lining a dark tunnel of laurel bushes and glowed at night-see the picture below. www.larmertreefestival.org
